Averill Earls, Ph.D.

Over the course of four months, Averill Earls, PhD, and Sarah Handley-Cousins, PhD, of DIG: History Consulting, researched, curated, and then implemented a school museum for SHA. They collected over 30 oral history interviews, and utilized school archives and yearbooks. The museum included a digital exhibit where visitors can explore audio clips and images from 90 years of yearbooks, accessible through a touch-screen; as well as exhibits on athletics at the all-girls school, the evolution of the school uniform, and the changing face (and building) of the school itself.
